Pet Pals

Pet Pals is a non-profit organization dedidicated to the humane treatment of animals. Pet Pals is based in Eleuthera, Bahamas, where stray dogs and unwanted cats are a major problem.

The primary mission of PetPals is to try to control and monitor the dog and cat population, and to educate through example. We also hope to unite strays with animal lovers, not only in the Bahamas, but in the United States and any country able to accept pets.

Our aim is to prevent cruelty and promote kindness to all animals. We would like to see all animals have a chance for a good and useful life.

We also support Dr Peter Bizzell, who is presently serving Eleuthera by holding Veterinary clinics where dogs and cats can be spayed or neutered, and assistance with this payment is available if needed. Other services include vaccinations, heart-worm prevention, flea and tick protection, as well as the treatment of any sick or injured pet. Times and locations are posted regularly on the messageboard.
